Matrixlord212, dumbass Whovian based in America. Runs a podcast called "Real Whovians", he thinks he's a big shot in the community because of how many podcasts he's made on Doctor Who, but all that tells us is he has no life...doesn't help the podcasts are barely coherent and have the shittiest possible production values. He mostly games these days, hanging out with little kids and playing second grade challenges for meaningless platinums. He's supposedly a 'best selling' author of over ten books, none of which anyone's heard of, but he insists are stocked in book stores, occasionally going out to Barnes and Noble to 'prove' it, but it's always just the one copy of the book he shows, I've long had a big suspicion that he self publishes and pretends the book is in stores. and always takes his one copy to them and takes a photo of him with it. He's a legend in his own mind and it'll stay that way. He's too far gone to be reasoned with. Like I said, he needs to get himself sorted out, as his friends like Scott (a MAGA bigot) and his idiot girlfriend Sharon do nothing but enable him, and I know from my contacts that all the members of his own podcast except Scott don't actually like him and simply come on to his cast to have their own voices heard and because his rants and delusions give them no end of entertainment.

Tish (Martha's sister) is going to be in it! I quite liked her.

Co-written by Fathead and the guy responsible for the pro-Amazon, anti-union episode of Jodie's run. Main cast consists of Martha's sister, Kate Stewart, Alonzo from Voyage of the Damned, and some background extra from the 60th specials. No sign of Freema, contrary to rumours that she was supposed to be the lead. This is desperate stuff, not unlike the worst Big Finish material that throws together assortments of random characters based on whoever happens to be available.

I thought it rather odd for Freema to come back to slumming it for Davies when she's got a solid career in the US going...

Did Martha's sister even have a character beyond being perved over by Lazarus and Mr Saxon? I mean nothing against the actress obviously, but it seems such a bizarre choice for a spin off? It's almost like a parody.

To be honest it's worse. At least Jackie had more of a character like her or hate her (though it was hilarious to think thanks to Big Finish she had more offscreen adventures throughout time and space between episodes than Rose actually did with the Doctor, and spent more time with him and Jack and River, yet it didn't affect her personality at all LMFAO.) Martha's sister however, again the actress is fine but there is nothing there to exploit in terms of character, story arc etc. It might as well be a new character and most don't even know she was in the show? Russell Tovey meanwhile is okay as an actor, but again who the hell remembers Russell Tovey?

To be fair though she's got a great name...

Sorry in my post I meant to say who the hell remembers Alonzo Frame, rather than Russell Tovey. That looked like a needlessly vicious attack on a random actor out of nowhere LOL. "No one will miss you when you die Tovey HAHAHAHAHA."
It turns out though the he isn't playing Alonzo and she isn't playing Martha's sister. I do wonder what's the point of casting them as different characters, but it's not the first time a producer has enjoyed reusing people to be fair.

I wasn't interested in this before, but now I'm even less interested. And I'm not even a Martha fan, particularly. But at least I can remember who she was, unlike the others. (Apart from piss-poor Kate) But honestly, this smacks of desperation. It's funny, I always used to wish for a Dalek Empire style spin-off, but these days I don't want them going near anything that I like, because I know they'll f*ck it up with all their usual baggage. They just can't get ANYTHING right, and it's all too far gone to hope for anything even HALF decent.

I agree. I'm GLAD they keep away from good stuff. They're utterly useless.
