Good God! How on earth is DiH not winning - and how on earth could I not vote for In The Forest Of The Shite? (And who gave votes to Mummy & Flatline?)
So many questions!

Conversely, I opted for Kill the Moon, In the Forest of the Shite and Death in Heaven. The fact that Robot of Sherwood for its sheer idiocy and vacuity didn’t make the cut is staggering (although I did admittedly choose three stories out of a hat for the series 7 poll). The low-points in this season are amongst the lowest in the entire series. Utterly pitiful.

Death In Heaven is probably the most obnoxiously bad episode since Time Turds. It should be caning this.

Deep Breath, Caretaker and Kill The Sodding Moon And What Little Interest I Had In This Cack Left.
As you can probably gather from the last one, I never saw DIH and from what I've heard here and having experienced the latest nadir, never want to if I can help it.

Well, here we are, folks. Series 7: The Return. More of the same late Smith shit only now with an old bloke. From this point onward, Moffat is merely careering around the plughole in ever decreasing circles, mailing in the same garbage ad nauseeum.
Yep, it's another difficult vote...

Very difficult. Forest of Shite and the canon-destroying Jodiesonherway cack finale were no-brainers, but for the third I avoided the obvious Kill the Moon (shite though it is) in favour of Time Heist, just cause no one else had voted for it, and I think it's lazy tedious shite that manages to be as boring in 45 minutes as the worst Pertwee six parter.

I don’t remember a single thing that happens in Time Heist. I literally cannot recall a meagre second of it. Can’t say I can be bothered to go back to it either and re-assess it, for obvious reasons.

Maybe by this point there were so many dreadful stories the human brain can only process so many of them!

I had some snail looking thing in it I think, which moved at about the same speed as the episode.

Dark Water Death in Heaven was probably only not winning at first because Mike and Seal were voting for other stories to piss me off LOL.
There is no other way it cannot be at the bottom. (I think the list should be "worst story that isn't Death in Heaven.")
It is without doubt the worst DW story of all time pre Timeless Children.
Everything about it from the story, to the performances (apart from Ingrid of course who is only there for 2 mins) to its obnoxious fans, to the reason it was done to pander to Claudia Boleyn types because they said mean things about Moffhack, to the effect it had on the franchise. It's a f*cking disgrace to Doctor Who.
There is literally too much to take apart about this shit fest, so I'll just say that the fact that any DW fans defended this piece of shit shows you how self loathing the fandom is. This should have been the point where the fandom rebelled. THIS was our Last Jedi moment. Where the hell was our version of That Star Wars Girl in response to this utter shit fest of a story?
Star Wars fans I respect. They made it known as soon as their franchise was f*cked with. DW fans like Jon Blum would have lapped up The Last Jedi because they would have been so desperate not to be seen as sexist, or sad anoraks or just to be popular with the young crowd. They'd have said it was the best film since the first one.
Thankfully however they had more spine and whilst Star Wars dd still suffer, at least it got the Mandolorian's first series which was a return to form. DW it seems will never get even a short reprieve because of how pathetically self loathing they are and Death in Heaven proves that.
