I've always found Frontios quite an interesting little story despite being quite dour in places. It's actually Bidmead's best and most coherent script for the series. The set design is pretty solid and even Ron Jones, who isn't usually a good director, gives the story a bit of flair. The story isn't hated by people by any means, but it's rarely mentioned when discussing the best of Davison.

Silver Nemesis is another one (I'm sure you'll agree with that) simply because it's so much fun. In fact, Delta, Nemesis and Battlefield are all very underappreciated. Not only are they insanely entertaining, but they all have some cool and ambitious ideas.

Yeah, Destiny isn't bad for a "dusty, cheap-looking, badly directed, poorly scripted story." It's almost as if it is none of those things..

Absolutely not, keep it the f*ck away from 22. Paradise Towers is perfect where it is. I think a season 25 version would be pretty cool, but also the kitschy aspect of 24 works really well for it. (That being said, if Paradise Towers replaced Happiness Patrol, I'd consider 25 totally flawless) |
