1/ Caves of Androzani 2/ The Time Warrior 3/ Carnival of Monsters 4/ Pyramids of Mars 5/ The Ark in Space (the story itself may be let down by production values but the script is perfect.) The dialogue is good, but the acting and dodgy editing really prevent Ark from being a classic for me. Forgot Terror of the Autons as well. One of the best Master stories. |

The dialogue is good, but the acting and dodgy editing really prevent Ark from being a classic for me. Forgot Terror of the Autons as well. One of the best Master stories. I like Terror of the Autons but I feel it is good more because of Barry Letts and Terrance Dicks in that the things that help it stand out, are the Master, Yates and Jo, all added in by those two. That's not to say the script is bad by any means, Bob Holmes does a great job, but I think that unlike say Carnival of Monsters that was all from his imagination, or even the Time Warrior where he still dreamed up a new villain, even if he had to introduce Sarah, that Terror is more of a joint effort. |
