The crew dying one by one, the trigger-happy androids vs the squad, the bomb starting and the subsequent disarming of it... it's brilliant. |

honestly, if I didn't know it was such a popular story, I'd have it ranked below Revenge of the Cybermen. It's that dull to me.

ah yes, the androids, the most generic and forgettable Doctor Who enemies since the Kraal I don't even remember the crew LOL. Can't have been very memorable. The bit where Walters shouts "Snyder, Snyder!" over the communicater while the camera slowly pans up from the bloody, gooey mess that was Snyder to the Androids is perfection. Grimwade did a wonderful job. |

For my money the androids are far more menacing and scary then the Cybermen. Episode one is the best of the four. After the Cybermen turn up it's a let down, apart from killing off Adric. 😆 Also, Beryl Reid was not an inspired choice. 😉 |
