A two favorites from my household. Shane MacGowan from the Pogues died earlier My mum's favourite Christmas song is Fairytale of New York. She's upset that the radio station she listens to refuses to play the song because of the usual "modern sensibilities" rubbish. Hopefully it zooms up the charts and they're forced to play it.

Last Christmas is lovely.
I've always found Mariah's All I Want for Christmas very overrated. I don't think it would make my top three let alone my top three. I think Band Aid 84, Paul's Wonderful Christmas Time and Kelly Clarkson's Underneath the Tree would be my other favourites.

Na, I've got my tree up and everything. I'm in the mood That was quick- we usually wait until mid-December. Mind you, this is the first Winter/Christmas in six years in which I haven't felt pressed for time, stressed out or overwhelmed, so I might enter the mood before time... We're relatively skint on money (thanks to energy bills and other factors), so I'm already concocting a short Christmas list (before everyone starts buying at rapid-fire speed).

I saw a Facebook meme something along the lines of: We can't celebrate Christmas until it ends its illegal occupation of November. 😁
Isn't there a song called Bah Humbug? If not, I'll have write one. 😆

Thanks for that. Once again, you’ve provided the biggest laugh of my evening.
