Hiya my dearest forum friends!
Now this pur pur pur poll is a bit strange because there's only 4 stories but you have three votes to vote for the most rubbish ones.
So basically you're leaving your favourite one out of the votes.
Or, if you rather, you could just vote once or twice.
My, how we're all having bags of fun with these fantastic pur pur pur polls!
I've hardly been here for five minutes and feel like we've all been such pur pur pur pals for years!
My bills gone all a quiver from the excitement of it all!

I went for the two obvious ones, POTD/TEOT, I can't decide between the other two.

What can I say I enjoyed all the stories this year except for The End of Time. Truly awful self indulgent tripe. Can I just vote for it three times so it's at the top like it deserves.

I don't think I've actually seen any of them since they were broadcast.

Sad to see the Next Doctor so disliked. I love it. It's tremendous fun and the Cyber Kaiju is badass. I just wish it had got a fight with the Skarasen or the Moffat era T-Rex.

I suppose if you are going to vote for 3 then it would have to be by default as as Waters of Mars is much, much better. None of them are even a tenth as bad as End of Time. I just voted for it and you can count that three times LOL.

Waters is the only one not shit, but TEOT takes the shit cake. Waters still has quite a few shit bits in it though. The hovering Peter Pan Dalek outside Wendys bedroom window flying off on Disney tinkerbell fairy gold dust, the stupid beep beep "Gadget gadget" robot and idiot scooter ride, the nonsense ending. I guess people are more forgiving because the good scenes are better than most NuPooh.

Oh agreed. The ending in particular almost sinks it, but it's still a lot better than the rest.

Honestly, I picked The Next Doctor because it's my least favourite of the lot, not because I hated it.
I have to admit, I thought Tennant's Epilogue Season was ok and some of it has grown on me. At the time, I was disappointed with Planet Of The Dead because it just felt like a regular romp after waiting so long for a new episode.
But, if you watch it now as a regular run of episodes, it's actually quite good. Yes, the regeneration finale is absolutely flawed but I do (for the most part) like it.
Waters Of Mars is my favourite NuWho ever.

Waters of Mars is the best of the bunch, albeit still noticeably flawed and definitely overrated. The story should have ended with Adelaide shooting Tennant instead- would have made for a better and more suiting departure than the one he got anyway. The rest are shite, with The Next Doctor being the least shite out of the remaining three in that the opening half is halfway palatable.
Planet of the Dead is beyond vacuous and lacking in any meaning or substance whatsoever, and End of Time is a clusterfokk.

I think Waters of Mars and Last of the Time Turds are the only two times that RTD came close to being as shit as his two successors Moffat and Chinballs in that they were the only two times he f*cked up the past like they did. The retcon of the Masters origins and the revelation that all the Doctors were different people just to make Tennant's finale more angsty were truly awful additions to the shows past that needed to be purged.
I will say though in his defense that other than that RTD didn't do any long term damage. Don't get me wrong. I didn't like the Doctor being the last of the time lords angle, or RTD's characterisation of the Doctor. However you couldn't say that it damaged DW overall. The Timelords could and were easily brought back as RTD wisely killed them off screen, and you could easily just handwave the Doctor being out of character in RTD'S time as being him having a breakdown because his people were gone, and the horrors of the Time War. Who knows maybe he was wanting to be a human because his own people were gone etc.
Matt Smith who was more old school shows that you could have gone back. Okay he still had some RTDisms like fancying Clara. Still he got us back to a more old school style, allowing for Capaldi to follow. That was the point with all the good will of the 50th and Capaldi in the role, back in 2014, if he wanted too. Moffat could have easily gone back to the style of the original series. Not saying he could have had serialised stories, but at least he could have had a more professorial, alien Doctor, darker, scarier adventures set in outer space, Doctor no longer being the last of the Time Lords or the pivot of the universe, and all would have been fine.
It's only when you get to Moff's later indulgences and Chinballs that sadly New Who has to be junked altogether as they f*ck up the work of much better writers before them and ruin it for their successors.

The Next Doctor has a good premise but in typical nuwho fashion pissed it all alway before anything genuinely interesting could happen.
Planet of the Dead is just boring, with it’s only not worthy aspect being Michelle Ryan as not-catwomen, one of her many bland roles. It’s pretty clear by this point that Fathead was up against the wall given that he’s not turned the Master into the Joker but is ripping off aspects of Batman wholesale.
In fact that’s actually a point I just noticed. His Doctors were “darker” and had a chip on their shoulder, hung around with young people…. The smug twat was just trying to make the Doctor fokking Batman! It would explain the Doctors new found over aversion to guns and why it’s made a big deal.
And what can I say about the End of Time none with swirling brain cell haven’t said. It’s a total disaster that completes the character assassination of the Master, until Missy came along, and pretty much solidified the time war as the stone around Nuwho neck for years to come. Also Rassalon is also totally ruined. fokk you you fat headed wanker.
Waters of Mars is good but as with Family of Blood it makes Ten look borderline psychologically evil and worse wimps out at the end. I’d have far more respect for this era if they had had the guts to follow up, instead they render that last little evil diatribe utterly pointless.

Next Doctor's enjoyable for the first half until the fokking Cyberkingkong or whatever the fokk it was turns up and Tennant rattles off his lonely god spiel and Waters Of Mars is good until the last 10 minutes with Tennant going mental but even then it's still blighted by tonal inconsistses mentioned above (Disney Dalek, the sidekick robot and mindless chase scenes which jar with the darker for NuWho tone)
So I'd choose Planet Of The Dead which was just mind numbingly boring as well as empty and End Of Time which is the worst regeneration episode of all. (I know many would reserve that for Twice Upon An Shite but I haven't seen that so can only comment on EOT).
