Wotcha my very dearest Mates!
It's pur pur pur Platypus here again with another of my fun- pur pur pur packed pur pur pur polls!!
This time we're on Season Four! Which THREE stories do you consider to be the most CRAP?
I quite like the pur pur pur Partners in Crime one myself because those Adipose are cute little guys just like me! I also like the one in pur pur pur Pompeii!
But remember, we're not voting on the ones we like here, but the ones we most hate!
So what are you waiting for? Vote away chums and have fun!

So many to choose from, but (pre-Pisstaker anyway) Voyage, PIC and TFOP may be the worst three story run in the show's history. Just dire.

I swapped my vote for "Doctors Daughter" to "Voyage of the Damned", I counted the twatty moments more carefully and decided VOTD was worse.
Partners In Crime is completely unredeemable and that completely idiotic Unicorn and the Wasp isn't far behind it.

Partners/Unicorn/Voyage
Some serious other contenders for 3rd place, but the xmas specials are almost always extra worthy of selection.

Partners is quite uniquely terrible. I get that it's just meant to be a companion introductory episode, but the monsters are too stupid.

I hate this series with a passion. Completely lost interest in the show during this period. Can I vote for every episode?

Probably the worst ever Dr Who monster, worse than all the animal hybrids and the flying cybermen. The bloody flumps - what were they thinking? If JNT had put those out in the late 1980s he'd have probably been shot!

They both make the bloody Kandyman look like Zygons for wet your pants scariness!

Areshole cowardly comedians on panel shows would have shown the clips repeatedly for 14 years as proof that DW was always shit and only a sad anorak would have liked it, and sadly self loathing fanboys like Jon Blum would have agreed.

Voyage of the Damned; an affront to Christmas Specials and even had to drag a beloved Popstar sensation into the literal Titanic of this episode. To its credit, there is potential for a great episode in here but at an overly long obnoxious length with cringy dialogue and unlikeable characters, this is among the worst of the Christmas Specials. Not quite the ABSOLUTE worst, but easily in the lower quarter of the rankings.

Voyage of the Damned, Partners in Crime and The Doctor's Daughter are utterly appalling, and my easy picks for this season.
I don't mind some of 4, but when it's bad, it's horrifically bad. Voyage of the Damned in particular is an abhorrent piece of TV, seeming to revel in its idiocy whilst simultaneously indulging in aggrandisement and unearned grandiosity (see the embarrassingly awful sequence where the Doctor is *yet again* portrayed as a Christ figure, followed up by the unconvincingly tacked on and bathetic appearance of the Queen- it's completely incontinent).
Partners in Crime is just as bad. One of the all-time worst NuWho series openers, and that's saying a lot.

I've seen Kim Kardashian's sex tape more times than anything from Series 4 since it aired.

Voyage was another story so f*cking awful and boring that I often forget it exists. Also like a lot of nuwho it’s ripping off a classic story and doing it far, far worse.
The Doctor’s Daughter has a good idea for a story in it, but due to how nuwho works it’s all wasted in a 45 minute dash rather then being developed. The worst part is Jenny. I’m not shore what they were trying to get at with her inclusion? Is it pro-life like kill the moon but about rape babies? Is it taking responsibility as a parent? Either way it dosen’tt work because this was forced in the Doctor. Jenny is not his responsibility in the same way a person chooses to have a kid or a pet. In those situations they are there because of your actions and so it is your responsibility. A child or clones by force is not, you had no say in the matter and you are not obligated to deal with them unless that is your choice. The fact that story dose everything to guilt trip a person into looking after a child (who’s not even a child) of what is a rape metaphor is actually pretty disgusting, when it’s a very tough subject that needs to be treated with respect and the people in real life with this need support in what ever they feel is right.
Journey’s End is just Bad Wolf again but with more nostalgia bait (classic & nu), more poor choices, still chasing the Finally Dragon to ever diminishing returns and again nicking ideas the classics did far better plus all the shiteness that was becoming ingrained in the show. Worse though is the fact that it’s clear nuwho and Fathead has played all their cards by this point and had nothing new to show. Also the constant rising of stakes pretty much insured things like Mofftwat’s universe breaking and Chinballs’ Timeless Children as these hacks desperately tried to keep the ball rolling long after it stopped.

I remember turning Partners in Crime off at the time. I was actually on holiday so I recorded it and watched it when I got home. After Donna met the Doctor again I lost interest and went and did something else. I was crazy about Who in 2007 but it was a different story in 2008. Didn't help that I discovered The Two Doctors in the same year on what was UKTV Gold. Despite the budget restraints, that story felt more cinematic to me than the dross RTD was throwing up.
