New Blake's 7 spin off in the works

The series will reportedly see  Roj Blake's long lost sister's best friend's daughter take on the evil Federation. She is joined by a member of the AVON products company who she affectly refers to as, well, Avon and a silky blonde woman called Jemma. James Gunn is confirmed to be involved and this is what he had to say regarding it:

"I hate the original series. Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate it! The bloody wires holding up the ship, the rampant sexism and the complete lack of logic. F*ck anyone involved with that travesty"

Not as cruel as when someone made a mock Blake's 7 magazine cover with Idris Elba on cover, introducing him as the new Blake in a remake series. I fell for that at the time. I don't think it exists on the internet now, but it was very convincing.

The problem with satire is that our reality has become satire, so no one can tell the difference anymore.

I agree with Rushy I was terrified that the legacy of Blake's 7 would be tainted at first, but now I appreciate this genius bit of satire hahaha. 

Though as Iank says, these days you can't be too sure. You should have cast that Snow White chick as Blake's sister who also hates the original.
