End of the World, Aliens of London and Boomtown all got my immediate vote. Parting of the Ways is the most anticlimactic and features a truly shite ending, but I'd rather re-watch it again over the three I voted for.
Britney Spears thrown in for no bloody reason, Eccleston gurning to soft cell, fart gags, every single key cast member behaving like smug twats in Boom Town- yep, all three picks were guaranteed.

It’s telling that this is as good as nuwho ever got isn’t it?
I’m actually picking Rose. Why? Because for all the good in the story, you can see the beginnings of the problems the show would have. From the Doctor being reduced to a side character in his own story, the companion being responsible for all major events leading to the villains defeat, low brow humour, sexual jokes, Noel Clarke and generally poor writing then the original. They couldn't even do the Autons despite having 35 years to improve on Spearhead in terms of effects.
Had I watched this episode for the first time now, as a more developed fan of the classic series I’d have stopped watching it then and there.
The End of the World and Aliens of London are just utter shite.

They couldn't even do the Autons despite having 35 years to improve on Spearhead in terms of effects. Yeah, it's true that the animated shop window mannequins of Rose are nowhere near as unsettling as the walking death-masks of Spearhead. Yet Davies even gets the Autons wrong on a conceptual level. No, these are not "Living Plastic Creatures", they are manufactured plastic vessels for a malign alien intelligence. And, indeed, if they are now living plastic, what precisely is the nature of the Nestene Consciousness in this context and how do they relate? It just doesn't make any sense. Handily (and ironically, given the cries of "It's all one show!!!"), of course, if one is given to viewing nuwho as non-canonical, the excuse for doing so is right there in episode one, as these are clearly not Autons (not the ones from our universe, anyway). Also, consider the Nestene Consciousness' original modus operandi in Spearhead; to replace key government figures and thus conquer the Earth. However, according to Davies, the Nestene Consciousness is just here to stuff itself. On plastics. Given though that the Consciousness' minions are all made of plastic, why doesn't it just stay at home and eat them? Actually, seeing as the Doctor flings his vial of "Anti-plastic" into the Consciousness itself, it also is presumably made of plastic, which seems rather cannibalistic. In fact, given that, why doesn't it eat itself? Probably moot, as the actual show appears to be eating itself. In episode one, no less! It's quite an achievement really that such a simplistic, tossed off opener should contain so many gaping logical holes, but there you are. One could perhaps be forgiven for thinking that this isn't Doctor Who. However, according to DWM, "Russell and his team have got everything spectacularly right", so what do we know? You're not here to think and science is for geeks or, in other words, he's the Doctor, just accept it...(you canutes).

The End Of The World - irredeemably bad. I forgave Rose for its shittyness, thinking it was just an early misstep, but by the end of TEOTW, I couldn't stand Eccelston and knew this really wasn't my Who. I only wish I'd stopped watching there and then.
Awful.
