When it comes to televisual viewing feasts, how do you watch your shit?
What's your favourite channel/source?
Or don't you bother because it's all rubbish and rather do something else instead?

Depends what it is.
Some BluRay/DVD. Some streaming services like Netflix. And some downloads on the laptop.
I don't have a favourite channel. Don't really watch 'actual' tv hardly at all.

It's probably either stream or download for me personally. Although like Ludders, I hardly watch anything anymore, it makes me fall asleep.

DVD/Blu rays. About the only things I watch on TV atm is The Chase to pass an hour in the afternoon and The Blacklist (which I tape to fastforward the ads). I have discovered the joys of an external hard drive that I've hooked up to my Blu player (didn't realise they were so small or relatively inexpensive honestly) and that's got loads of stuff on too.

I only watch DVDs and occasionally the odd thing on YouTube. I'll sit and watch The Simpsons if it's on the telly (only if they're from the first eight seasons or so) but mainly I just watch DVDs. I don't like streaming stuff for some reason. A bit like music I've downloaded, it doesn't feel like I really own the album unless I get the physical copy of it.

DVD and Blu Ray. I stream some stuff on Britbox and Netflix, but I don't watch actual TV anymore.

A mixture of DVD, blu-ray, streaming and downloads. Almost never traditional TV.

I get very OCD about discs and how long they last for. I did buy one film on Amazon so I could watch it if something ever happened to the disc, but I'm still worried that they might block me from watching it one day for one reason or another. I was going to rip the disc to my computer too but that's still illegal in this country. I suppose if you really looked after your discs they will last you your whole life.

I've got a couple of extra copies of stuff that's relatively obscure (and thus may be more likely to go out of print) like The Little Vampire and Wicked Science. Stuff I've only got off-air copies of because they've not been released commercially at all I've made multiple copies of on DVD and various flash and hard drives. Paranoid, moi?

Yeah, I have stuff that will most likely go out of print in the future which is why I make sure I have it on Blu ray and DVD just in case one goes wrong. I just don't know why Amazon just don't allow you to download the video you've purchased to your desktop. It would calm my fears if they did that, but they've got to be awkward haven't they? I understand the paranoia completely. I don't want to wake up one day, reach for a favourite film and not be able to view it for whatever reason.

Is it wrong to buy unofficial blu rays? There are several blu rays like James Cameron's True Lies and The Neverending Story III that are available on the medium, but both are believed to be bootlegs made in Spain. Their law on such a matter is different apparently and they can pretty much get away with doing it. Amazon UK themselves were originally selling copies of the films on their website and you can still purchase both on Amazon EU or on Ebay. The NES III one is apparently a Blu Ray-R disc while the True Lies hasn't ever had a Blu ray release in Europe before. The only way to actually buy these films on Blu ray is to get these Spanish ones.

No. And, who cares? If they're too lazy to release the things, tough titties I say. I've bought the Spanish releases of True Lies and Fright Night Part II. I don't know if they are officially licensed or just Spain being naughty again, but the Wicked Science DVD releases were also from Spain and I bought them too. Sorry you lazy bastards but I think waiting 14 years for them to release the thing in Aussieland was long enough...

DVD and Blu-ray, purely because if I by something I want to be able to watch it when ever I want, not when some company arbitrarily decided I would or the internet conks out. Also if I want to watch something, I want to watch that, not pay for a whole library of shit I’ll not lol twice at just so I can see a hand full of crap.
I do have two streaming services, Amazon Prime, which I have more for deliveries then their shows, and Netflix, as the wife had it as we pay for it together now. I refuse to get more because it’s a bloody piss take to have so much hidden behind pay walls.
