1) Parting of the Ways - An easy win. It's one of my favourite Dalek stories of all time. They're never as menacing before or since. Eccleston is on fire. The cliffhanger is gold. The deus ex machina resolution is a little iffy, but it does lead to the Ninth Doctor regenerating and Rose develops from it, so it's okay.
2) The Stolen Earth - It's a campy Five Doctors style crossover. I dig it. It's a lot of fun. Davros is especially great in this. DETONATE THE REALITY BOMB!
3) Dalek - Mainly love this one for Eccleston's incredible performance. He sells the Time War singlehandedly.
4) Evolution of the Daleks - Never did much for me. I guess the setting is interesting, and this is just about the only time we see the Cult of Skaro do something genuinely inventive.
5) Doomsday - Saccharine tripe.

None of them are very good. I kinda like DIM but it doesn't half go off the reservation in the second part.

1. Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks - great setting and less bombastic and annoying than some of the others. I love Tullulah! 2. Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways - a pretty tense finale with superb direction and the modern Daleks at their most threatening. 3. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday - good drama. Not a great Who story, though. 4. Stolen Earth/Journey's End - fun first part but disappears up its smug arse in the second. 5. Dalek - Horribly mawkish ending ruins the whole thing for me.

On paper, Manhattan/Evolution is the most interesting but some of the performances and setpieces are just diabolical. The pig-men, the Hooverville nonsense, the Human-Dalek army, it's all a load of filler crap. Frank getting taken by the pigs and the Doctor screaming after him has me pissing myself every time. Tallulah is a bit too Lina Lamont for my liking. I get that she's supposed to be annoying but my God, "hwhere are yooo" might be the most eye-rolling line of dialogue spoken in this show.
