Both decades had excellent sequels, but the 1980s were better for me. Aliens, Back to the Future Part II, Rocky III, Rocky IV, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Last Crusade, Superman II, Christmas Vacation, Karate Kid Part II and Lethal Weapon 2. There's so much more as well.
