Missed it yesterday, but caught the BBC TWO rerun this morning.

The show was dedicated to several Doctor Who pieces besides the competition announcement. Tennant introduced the competition, dropping little membererries like "don't blink" "The Doctor's over 900 years old" and "Alonze".

Two of the presenters were dressed up as Eleven and Four. Kids were dressed like 12 and 13), and they gave viewers a quick crash course education on the programme, they then the prior history of Blue Peter Doctor Who competitions (including cameos from a young Channel Pup which will no doubt embarrass him)

Then they aired a feature about a 2022 visit to the Time Fracture set, where the presenter got two walk-on roles as a scientist and a Dalek.

The rest of the show focused on cooking.

I understand the girl dressed like 13 was asked who her favourite Doctor was and said Matt Smith.

I loved the bit where Tennant was like "if I had this oppurtunity back then, I'd have done it!". He had such nostalgia in his eyes lol.
