I don't particularly like it and find it extremely exploitative of both the models and the fans. I'm happy I stopped using that site and quit porn recently. Porn can be so poisonous. Aren't threads asking 'which of these women is hottest' just an extension of this? It's objectifying women in the same way. I was talking more about the exploitative nature of the site in which models rip off their fans and vice versa. As it's a porn site I don't have much problem with people using the model's body for titillation if the model earns money from it. That's not the issue here. As I've mentioned, and this can happen both ways, fans can often feel pressured into paying more money to the model (as I did once. She insisted that a pay for more custom material) and that models are often pressured into doing something they don't want to do because fans pay them money in advance. I'd rather not be on a site like that or really support porn anymore. |

There is absolutely nothing wrong with saying which actresses or singers you find hot. As long as you aren't a nasty asshole about it to ones you don't find attractive, then who cares? It's natural, and plenty of women do it in reverse. Hell they write erotic fan fiction where hunky male leads shag each other. Are you going to condemn the entire slash fiction industry as being perverted and exploiting men and making men feel bad? Maxil hasn't to my knowledge gone to the effort of writing a piece of fiction where Clara and Tegan shag. (PS I know I have had my problems with slash fiction Re the Doctor and Master, but that's only because they insisted that it go that way in the show, and even then it wasn't really slash fans. It was middle aged men wanting to show how progressive they were and how they totally weren't gammons, that pushed it into the show itself.) I did apologise for sharing the drawings of Missy and Jodie on the old hive. At the time I was laughing at how far removed they were from Delgado and Pertwee, but I realise that it might have come over as laughing at the artists themselves and I still feel awful about that, hence why I'll apologise for it again here. Still to try and make out that someone commenting on which actresses they find attractive is the same as an exploitative industry that employs casting couch type behaviour, tries to control the women's bodies to make them appear desirable (and the men too.) And traps and blackmails its stars, is ridiculous, and quite frankly considering this is something Maxil has felt ashamed over in an overly anxious way, you might not want to push that just to virtue signal about how you're a 21st century man who respects women. |

Just to be clear I sent an apology to Rani, for being a bit too harsh to him. I think I came over as too holier than thou, though I do still stand by what I said that talking about babes should not be a taboo, and I'm consistent with that. Any girls want to talk about which guys they think are hot, or any gay guys that want to drool over hot guys. Go ahead. These taboos need to end. They don't encourage bad attitudes. Suppressing them does.

Since my last post I confess to viewing porn, though not on OnlyFans. I always feel so confident about leaving it behind for good, but I always end up getting dragged back in again. While my addiction to it is nowhere near as bad as it used to be (the time when I was selling stuff simply to have money to buy content and fuel my addiction will always be my lowest point), but even so I feel less of a man for being a slave to my own sex drive. Normal people use porn for five minutes, do what they have to do and then close the tab and not think about it again for a day or several. Unfortunately I use porn very much like how someone uses drugs. I love the high feeling as well as being in a trance where my responsibilities are put on hold and I can be in a state of prolonged happiness. It isn't good when the brain releases too much dopamine, and I'm pretty sure my dopamine receptors are screwed from all the porn I've consumed since I was about 16. Maybe my interest in porn is because of my OCD which causes me to over indulge in pratically everything I do.

I'm hoping the days of me paying for subscriptions to models on OnlyFans is over, though. A lot of my favourite performers were active from the mid to late 00s and retired from the industry ages ago. If they hadn't, I'd probably have a much harder time trying to resist going on OnlyFans. I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to look at porn if I really need to but limit my viewing time considerably. Then I'm going to refrain from watching it for at least two days after that. |

Though NOFAP is cultish, the idea of abstaining from masturbating in order to channel your sexual energy to other areas of your life that are important is actually quite sound. I feel like I have much more sexual value when I'm not draining my balls on a regular basis. I suppose in quiting pornography and masturbation you are forced into actually making an effort by going out and meeting girls because you have nothing else to fall back on. I've been practising this for about four days now and whenever I get the urge I always workout or do something that's creative or productive.
