Rick and Morty co-creator acquitted

Earlier this year the co-creator of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland, who also voices the title characters was accused of domestic battery charges. He has been acquitted of all charges. 

Thing is though he was fired from his own show as soon as he was accused. Personally I think that these cases should be kept out of the public eye until a verdict is reached. For both the accused and the accuser that's the best thing to do. It's disgusting the way so many people are quick to jump on a bandwagon, and grab their pitchforks. 

To be fair I'm not going to comment on this case even after Roiland has been acquitted as there are miscarriages of justice, and I'm not involved. Still the likes of the Mary Sue and others who jumped on the "let's hang him" and got Justin fired from his own f*cking creations should hang their heads in shame. Of course they won't. They'll go on to the next case with just as much righteousness.

Harmon is known to be a bit of a cock so I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to preside singly over the entire show himself. But then again, Roiland returning wouldn't be unimaginable, I suppose.

Roiland is still a fairly toxic individual, while this hasn't stuck he's left quite a controversial trail behind him for other things.

This'll end up like Noel Clarke. On the record he's in the clear, but everyone knows he's gotten away with worse.

The fact that it wasn't reported as widely that Noel Clarke was in the clear as it was that he was accused was terrible in my opinion. Again I don't think they should report it at all until a verdict has been reached, but this trial by fandom crap that again the usual suspects like Mr Tardis and the Mary Sue revel in is the worst of all worlds. (It's what made Mr Tardis attempted smearing of someone as a nonce even more sinister as he knew if that accusation picked up traction then he wouldn't have had to prove it. The court of fandom would have decided an accusation was enough and that was that.) 

As for Roiland I don't know much about him as I only started watching Rick and Morty a few months back, but I don't doubt he will at the very least be a Joss Whedon style egomaniac as these writers and producers are built up too much these days by fans, but this was from what I read the most serious accusation against him as the police were involved.
