Apparently she's been throwing hissy fits on Twatter after the inevitable negative response. She's not even an actress, as was painfully apparent just from those 60 seconds.
The whole thing is staggeringly bizarre. I've even heard a rumour this was all the BBC, and RTD is not happy about it. I don't see how ANYONE could be happy about that embarrassment.

Again when you say things like Missy and Jodie are brilliant and adopt an attitude of anyone who criticises right on, shallow neo liberal politics that's taken over the show is a Nazi, and there is no such thing as continuity, the foundation for good storytelling, then of course DW related media is going to be half arsed, politically motivated, shallow crap!
Want to know why this woman was cast? She is a trans activist. (I might add she also called the Doctor them in the trailer. Seriously. Those 50 years of calling the Doctor he are now going to be retconned as misgendering the character.)
Here is what she had to say on twitter after being cast.
“Hello new followers! You’re probably here because I’m part of the Whoniverse now. Welcome! I post a lot about politics and trans rights, dress up as other people and I sing a LOT. If I make you ‘cringe’ then good. Welcome!”
I doubt RTD was against this. He praised her casting and clearly thinks like her.
Only thing I will say is she is kind of cute, but that's it.

To be fair it looks like she is having a sense of humour about the backlash.
I actually think I'd quite like her in real life haha. She's cute, likes big nosed women, vintage computer games, Tim Curry and loves Red Dwarf. We could so have been friends in another life.
Still though sadly doesn't change the fact that her DW debut is cheap and half arsed, but again I say to make her the object of fans ire whilst praising "Eeeeeiiiii I fell ooot me TARDIS", or "Doooooonnnnn'ttttt feeeel baaaaaaaaaaaad, I'lllll misss her taaaaaeeeee" is f*cking insanity.
She stars in a bit of silly spin off material, they were the main characters!

This is what happens when people lower their expectations to align with political currents; especially those political currents whose proponents are some of the most talentless, incompetent and lazy people you could possibly imagine.

I don't like it when people dogpile on someone, so if everyone is just constantly bombarding this actress with "you suck messages" then it's fair to call people out on just jumping on a bandwagon. Even more so considering in all fairness whilst it was a shit trailer, we don't know what the actual thing itself will be like. Maybe I'm just being a bit biased because I sort of fancy her a bit LOL and she seems like the type I'd get on with, but still I think that's the only fair attitude you can have to anything. Also again I say that since we are talking about a fandom that embraced Jodie Whittaker, then they can get f*cked acting like a bit of spin off material is going to embarrass the show more than this woman. ![]()  being its ambassador Still Mr Tardis can f*ck off when talking about any toxic side of fandom. Yes it was. Rabbi when asked which of the companions he would like to shag, said Victoria as she was easy. It was an unbelievably creepy and disgusting joke. I don't like Rabbi to be clear. From what I've seen of him, he doesn't seem like a good guy.
However Mr Tardis claimed that Victoria was 15 and that Rabbi was lusting after a minor and saying he wanted to groom her, and was posting that all over social media, and encouraging other people to say that to him every time he tried to say something about DW. PS Deborah Watling was 19-20 when she played Victoria. Not a minor. The character may have been younger, though her age is never given in any story and given that Jamie is meant to be very fond of her, I doubt it as that would make him a pedo too.
It's like saying you're a pedo if you fancy Cordelia in Buffy who was also meant to be a teenager, but was played by an obviously older actress.
Shows what a vile and idiotic little twerp he is. Had rabbi really cared he could have easily sued him, also even when dealing with a guy who is a bit of a dick, Mr Tardis still lacks the wit and knowledge to properly take him down and has to resort to the most horrific smears which just end up making you defend Rabbi.
