I jumped the gun a bit yesterday thinking series 15 filming had started, the nightshoot was actually pick-ups for Christmas 2023
Millie was on location, but not Ncuti, however his stunt double was there. Doc will wear a kilt in the special

He's standing outside a ladbrokes. Possible clue to Eccleston returning in the special?

One of the recent 'WhoSpy' tweets asked "What could be happening Tues-Thursday at 9:30 AM"
Speculation has ranged from "something happens around that time in-story during episode three" to something more to do when the anniversary episodes will drop and how.
9:30 AM on the I-Player across November 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, which would allow for a worldwide drop by Disney+
When it was airing on DAVE, Red Dwarf dropped new episodes that were due that week the very morning of transmission, so yeah it's possible the three specials will drop those days same time as Disney+ and still transmit later. It makes sense to appeal more to the streaming generation and it shows they lack faith in consistent ratings even with Tennant given the poor performances of the programme in Chibnall's era

Not going to try and spin it out over a couple of weeks? That might be a mistake. Dracula remember absolutely tanked over 3 days, whilst Sherlock that went over a few weeks managed to maintain them.

To be fair, Dracula was shit. I watched about 5 minutes, got to the scene with Jonathan Harker talking about having sex with Dracula, and went "Er... no."

I dunno, man, I keep hearing some fans going ga-ga over here, but I'm not really seeing it. She's cute fresh-faced but that glam look is so plastic it just turns me off. I'm not into Autons, sorry. Gimme Mad Kazza anyday.

She's waaaaaay too young for me. I'm 32. Give me a cougar like Alison King or Big Fam instead LOL. She has to be able to beat the crap out of me too, which is no problem as I am a gigantic pussy. I am a big fat bastard these days though so I do have a weight advantage over most women, but I'm losing weight so a 6 foot 5 babe can toss me around.
Seriously though I think she is a pin up to the next generation, Gen Z not randy old millenials like me. Then again will there be any straight people watching the next series LOL.

Her resemblance to Jenna Coleman brings back all the PTSD I have left over from the Clara era. That was the only time I truly hated the show. Great actress, but Clara had a truly revolting personality.

Millie Gibson... a reason to watch? What's wrong with her face? She looks like she has a bruised cheekbone?

Great actress, but Clara had a truly revolting personality. I remember her being quite nice if somewhat smug (which I found boner-inducing at the time). At least she wasn't as bad as Rose. Rose: "There's nothing for me here" Mickey (her BOYFRIEND) "Nothing?" Rose: "Na"

I like Jenna Coleman a lot. She reminds me of Claudia Boleyn in terms of her mannerisms and looks and that's always a good thing. I do agree season 8 Clara was awful the way she would slap the Doctor, but other than that I found Clara more likable than Rose. The exchange above is a good reminder of how unpleasant Rose could be. You might excuse it that she was young, but she didn't seem to grow in Journey's End either and was a jealous bitch even when the world was, nay multiverse was in danger! Clara personally never came over that way. She seemed like a fun girl to know.
As for Millie well again too young for me I'm afraid. If I knew her personally I'd be like a big brother figure. An annoying wanker big brother figure that thinks everyone looks up to him when they wish he'd just shut up, but still a big brother figure nonetheless LOL.
As for how she is as an actress, well she was okay in Corrie, though again nothing compared to the queen of cougars Alison King. Why can't we get an older female companion like Alison King again? I mean I'm not just saying that because I want a sexy older woman in the show. Well okay that's like 95 percent of why I'm saying it LMAO. Still an older female companion who isn't in awe of the Doctor and might give him some shit like Barbara could be a good dynamic. Hell everybody goes on about how great Donna was, and she was that. (Personally I'm not as keen on Donna as I view the end of her story as too big an insult to the Doctor himself, but in theory yes that was a good idea for a companion.)
If NPH (spit) is to be believed however Ncuti's Doctor is gay. He wasn't referring to Gatwa himself who I believe is bisexual, so yes assuming there was any truth to that then this may be the first gay Doctor.

I loved Clara at the time and I don't remember her personality being "revolting." I remember a smugness (which mostly every Moffat character had), but nothing she did made me loathe her like I did with Rose who was quite happily flirting with guys across the galaxy, but when Mickey says he has a girlfriend (it was a lie, but even so) she gets all pissy about it.
