The original 1940 comic by Bob Kane, Bill Finger and Jerry Robinson has been turned into a motion comic. You should definitely check it out. The voices are great, the music effective and the story itself is one of the best Batman comics of all time.
Even if you're not a Batman fan it's worth a look. It's really scary and atmospheric. It plays out more like a classic Universal horror movie. In fact its plot reminds me of The Invisible Man in some respects.
