Um, Terminus pwns Arc by a looooooong way. Terminus is better directed, but it's utterly boring and crap. A major step backwards after Mawdryn. Arc is tripe also.

'Mawdryn Undead' (what a gloriously un-Doctor Who sounding title!). Anything featuring David Collings gets my vote, and although its grand to see the Brigadier again, I would have preferred Ian Chesterton in the story, as was originally intended.
'Enlightenment' has its moments, but Season 20 really isn't one of my favourites.

Season 20 reminds me of Pertwees Season 9.
There's nothing THAT offensively bad in there, but it's so pedestrian and average that it's like the series is sleepwalking, there's no great urgency there.
Both of them are also prior to a decades celebratory story too.

Both of them are also prior to a decades celebratory story too. Perhaps, yeah. Both also have their highlights or stronger stories dispersed within (Day of the Daleks/Sea Devils, Mawdryn/Enlightenment)., although I think I personally enjoy Day more than any of the season 20 outings (even if there is a case for Enlightenment being better), yet The Sea Devils is probably behind a few of them. My least favourites of both seasons are King's Demons and The Mutants. The latter is objectively better written but it's so bloody long and draining, whereas the former is more of a mess but mercifully short. Arc reminds me of Time Monster but I'm unsure which I'd place higher. I guess Time Monster is more audacious but it's also longer.
