I'm only including the main ones.
Rose for me. I sort of understand Donna's appeal, but not Rose. I can't stand her.

Got to be Yaz. The others at least had personalities. She really was a nothing. It's not just the actresses fault though. Chibnall honestly can't write at all. He thinks that after not giving her anything resembling a persona for 2 series, he could make up for it by having Bradley Walsh just beef her up in the finale.
Freema is still the best. I am a tiny bit in love with her though so maybe I'm biased LOL.

I am a tiny bit in love with her though so maybe I'm biased LOL. Biased or not, it's still a fact that Martha is the best modern companion. She has so many likeable traits and Freema is a great actress. I liked her a lot at the time though some fans hated her simply because she wasn't Rose. The character had a great sense of style and I honestly love her hair up or down . |

It's Clara, and none of the others come close. Clara was a vicious, toxic mess of a person who verbally abused Twelve at any given oppurtunity, and manipulated him and Danny constantly. She's one of the worst television characters I've ever seen.

You just can't dislike her and oh dear god is her smile just so beautiful.  |

I obviously haven't even see a full ep, but I still went for Yaz. The clips I've seen make her look as wooden as hell. That being said, series 2 Rose, Donna and Clara are all often deeply annoying and unlikeable. Martha, Amy and Bill are the only ones who really work for me in New Who and don't degenerate. Apart from Rory, of course. Poor old Rory, always forgotten.  |
