I watched some of Rise of the Cybermen not that long ago and gave up on it. I went back to it earlier and I actually think it's good despite Trigger giving a very over the top performance and the usual soap nonsense that I don't like. Jackie is even more of an idiot in this universe. Despite this, I like the International Electromatics reference and some of the story reminds of The Invasion. I also have a lot of memories watching The Age of Steel back in 2006 and being very engaged by it. The Cybermen are sort of scary here although their fear factor would diminish by The Next Doctor. Overall a decent two parter. Tooth and Claw is also OK.

We need a "not applicable" option.

LOL
Love and Monsters is better than Latern and Fear Her at least. I like Marc Warren as an actor actually. I also didn't mind it when it first aired. I watched that again yesterday and it was OK. Idiot's Latern and Fear Her are still shite though. At least you can laugh at Love and Monsters.

The Impossible Planet's great, lots of Pyramids of Mars vibes

The Impossible Planet, it’s still lumbered with nuwho crap and is not as good as it’s Classic counterparts but better then the rest of the season.

The Impossible Planet is effectively creepy and tense, but what ruins it for me is Tennant and Rose. I quite like the team (although why you'd kill off Scooti first is beyond me) , but the two regulars are insufferably smug. Billie is probably the worst of the two here.
