Since I last posted here, we've changed Monarchs and waded through two shite Prime Ministers. Nice to be back!
Anyway, which one of these bastards is next? And, crucially, what the hell happens now?

I think it will probably be 'Penny Mordor'. Though part of me hopes it's Boris, simply so he can get his long-overdue comeuppance (again) by being forced to be the 3rd time a Tory PM has had to resign this term, following the 'Lie-gate' inquiry. He's not as well-loved as he used to be since Partygate/Pinchergate, which is what his adorers forget.

He's not as well-loved as he used to be since Partygate/Pinchergate, which is what his adorers forget. Mordor's an odd one insofar as she's a typical Tory, yet actually had the gall to hold Starmer to account earlier this week for brazenly breaking his pledges- something which isn't acknowledged anywhere near enough. She's the safest bet superficially, although part of me still reckons Sunak will get the job. The press are already talking about him being vindicated after Truss' extremist neoliberal project (predictably) turned out to be disastrous. That said, calling it "Trussonomics" as the media are doing is deeply misleading. It's just a completely unmasked version of the same zombified political shite we've been belaboured with for over four decades. Opting for extreme Thatcherite rhetoric is the antithesis of a vote winner now, as Cummings was always implicitly aware of. Still, the party's probably finished now. We'll be replacing one set of arseholes with another eventually... Johnson returning after being ousted would simply solidify this country as an absolute joke. Honestly, what a pathetic state we're in.

That actually makes sense- I mean, isn't Truss basically Chibnall? Clueless, inept, bereft of ideas and infinitely more neoliberal than their predecessors. In fact, she even vaguely resembles Jodie's Doctor:

Someone attractive. Call me crazy, but I've never been able to get off to any of the female PMs.

Welcome back lad. How's tricks? As for who's taking over: Don't know and don't care tbh. We all know it's gonna be one c**t or another.

Rather then seeing who’s next in, I want to see how long it takes for the next one to quite.
Truss is the new record with six weeks befor she cracked, can we get four or five from the next useless prat.

I know- if the next one buggers off before the year is finished, we'll have officially had six of the fu.ckers in six years! Our political system is completely broken. It's bloody pitiful.

Agreed at this stage the role of the Prime Minister is about as important in the world of politics as the role of the Doctor is in the world of acting. In both cases it's just some gormless moron wheeled out to spout the usual party bullshit and then think nothing of it, and I might add do the minimum work they can, like Chibnall's two episodes a year.

I read somewhere that Tuss was the only prime minster since 1963 not to have a DW episode air during her tenure.

I believe the TV movie aired during John Major's time so I think that stat is absolutely correct.

It looks like Sunak has officially got it. Somehow I suspect he won't be ousted in 45 days, but I've been wrong many times before...

Officially got it 24/10,
Unofficially had it since 06/09...
c*nt.

I still suspect this was all planned. Might sound conspiratorial and batshit on my part, but who the f*ck gave Truss that budget advice? The Brexit project was all about harnessing the disaffected vote and channelling it through the populist right (to great effect)- the same disaffected population who dropped out of the electorate as a result of Blairism first and Austerity second. That was the mantra on which the Tory party reinvented itself, so what was the mindset behind the Truss bollocks? How was extreme, unbridled and untamed neoliberalism (not "Trussanomics" as the media twats now refer to it) supposed to appeal to anyone, least of all the disaffected? Where did this shit come from? Did absolutely no one think it through? Or was it always devised to ensure that she was ousted?
