Obvious fake members who clearly just log in to see what's going on in the private section. At least post something to make yourself less obvious.

I also find the "error bear" screen a bit annoying, but since it's a free hosting site I can't really complain too much. Problems are bound to happen.

Try flushing your cookies if the error bear message appears. Failing that, try and log into the forum on another browser.
If neither of those work, just swear a lot and try and log back in again later because it's probably proboards wonky servers.
