Which story makes you want to gouge your eyeballs out with a rusty spoon and stick them in a pickle jar?
Which one is such an unbearable snoozathon you'd find watching paint dry a more worthwhile exercise?
Which story winds you up so bad that you want to kick your screen in and lob your whole collection from off the top of a sky-rise block in a fit of pure rage?
Classic Who stories only, and please just mention what you consider to be THE very worst rather than a shopping list full of shite.

Right I'm going to kick start this one off:
"The Web Planet"
This one is marginally worse than "The Space Pirates".
It's a brave attempt for the time it was made to realise an alien planet and surroundings, but by episode 4 you really are beginning to question your own sanity watching this. The Vaseline blurred lens "effect" also makes me keep reaching for my glasses, it really is agonizing.
It's like Sesame Street on LSD.

Revenge of the Cybermen. Absolute bollocks story. Even Hinchcliffe fanatics seem to hate this one too.

Revenge of the Cybermen. Absolute bollocks story. Even Hinchcliffe fanatics seem to hate this one too. It's not one of his finest moments for sure. I remember being bored by it as a kid. I find Masque of the Mandragora more dull though. After Seeds Of Doom I was hugely looking forward to the next series, and when it finally arrived, the opener was a real big disappointment. I was literally bored to tears by the f*cking thing.

Mindwarp. Great concept let down by shit music, acting and being part of an already staid stagnant season. Yup, there's truly some "Time and the Rani" level of pantomime acting in "Mindwarp" - it's utter crud. Just a shame the powerful scenes at the end of Peri being turned into a husk for Kiv are on the end of such a shitehouse story, because they are subsequently the only 3 minutes worth watching out of the whole damn thing.

Time Monster. Only a true masochist could survive two and a half hours of that.

I agree the Web Planet is the worst. It's a shame as the first episode is so well done, so atmospheric and creepy. It's all down hill from there.

Whilst accepting those criticisms of it, I'm quite surprised to find that it's your absolute bottom ranking Classic story of all. Personally, I can't choose between Paradise Towers and Delta. PT is like NuPu in the sense that it took a good theme and through it away on pantomime. I suppose Delta is better through being an episode shorter. lol Oddly enough, I don't mind Time and the Rani quite so much, but it would probably still be in my Top 10 worst stories, along with Mindwarp, The Gunfighters, and The Highlanders/Smugglers/Myth Makers for sheer bore factor. Lol

Time Monster. Only a true masochist could survive two and a half hours of that. It's incredible the way that Katy Manning and Jon Pertwee said that Day of the Daleks was the worst story they were in! I know Jon disliked the Daleks, but come on here. A good story is a good story.

Time Flight is truly hideous. Anthony Ainley is the one I feel sorry for having to go through that...
