What are some of your faviort places to appear in Doctor Who.
Skaro in The Daleks - an amazingly realised 60s sci-fi world. The dead lands of Skaro, the retro dalek city and the lake of mutation are some of my faviort locations in Doctor Who.
Marinus - Primarily the acidic sea and craggy shores of the first episode.
Vortis - The Web Planet and it's giant insects have always captured my imagination
The Alternate Reality of Inferno
The Nerva Beacon
The Psychic Circus
The Scope from Carnival of Monsters
Zeta Minor, the Planet of Evil
The London Underground
The Celestial Toyroom
The Land of Fiction

So agree. Rainy Paris in the late 70s with the lovely Lalla running about with a huge smile on her face. Just stay away from the Count's chateau...

Watching Colin run around scary Victorian streets in the dead of night makes me wish we got a proper story set during that time in his era. Trial isn't very good but some of it actually works well and shows some sort of ambition that could have been realized fully if the writers were in sync with one another.

Great idea, only problem is you listed all my faves LOL.
Exillon is up there as I love the city and the Exillons themselves are scary as f*ck.
I also liked the middle ages setting of The Time Warrior, Spirodon that is a real Dan Dare planet, and the setting of Morbius' planet with the gothic castle and mad witches close by and the spaceship graveyard. It's a wonderful mix of Hammer horror and 50s sci fi. (Though Ohica does annoy me with her eye acting.)
