Your faviort minion of the Dalek Race. These days the Robomen. Frankly the capture the nature of their masters perfectly. There is no real good point to them from a functional value, in fact the Novel version of Dalek Invasion makes Robotisation out to be a complex process, which sounds pretty wasteful given that they will enevitable break down and commit suicide. They could build robots to fill the role more efficiently, yet they do it anyway. Why? Cruilty and Ego, nothing more. The Robomen exist solely as an insulting, demoralising piece of Dalek propaganda. They exist to please their black hearts and break their fellow man's. They are pointless cruilty in it's purest form. I'm aware many people prefer their movie counterparts but I honestly prefer the look of the originals. They are tools to be used an discarded, and I could never see the Daleks wasting resources on making uniforms for them. They should look unclean and tattered, because to their masters, the Robomen is likely worth less then the tech bolted to their heads. Their big helmets and bulky collars are not ment to be sleek they are a symbol of Dalek supremacy.

The Robomen (Both Versions). I've mellowed a lot to the TV versions a fair deal since my last re-watch of DIOE and TBF I've always found them more conceptually interesting although the only main flaw is that some of the actors are variable (The lead one/Phil is great but the Rimmer looking one who Ian tells to get new orders is a bit comical). The 2150AD versions may look more manufactured and act like generic henchmen (And an precursor to the Dickheads/Troopers from Resurrection)but I'll always have an nostalgic fondness for them
The Ogrons are an close second although as great as they are design wise, I've never understood the raving they get.

I'm glade I'm not the only one who though that Roboman looked like Rimmer.

The Varga plants, because all they have to do is prick you The Varga are great examples of body horror, and as you say, their poison is nothing to turn your nose up at.
