I only ask as apparently some book has tried to unify pretty much every "Black" version from the classic series as one and the same. Or at least most of them.
Dalek: The Astounding Untold History of the Greatest Enemies of the Universe
The supreme controller right through to the renegade one, are now apparently all the same character. That makes bugger all sense to me. There seems to be a big push these days to try and unify all the Dalek Characters into singular ones despite the fact they are a wide spread race of almost identical beings, several of whom have died on screen. The Gold Dalek of Day is now the same as the one in Frontier in Space, and every Emperor save Davros and the Restoration one are also the same apparently.
and here I though Doctor Who "had no cannon" lol!.
