Just something I was mulling over. While I have not seen every story of the Ainley Master, I’m well awaire of his surviving events that should have killed him permanently.
Well the idea I had was that, like Doctor Doom, the Termas Master makes use of robot doubles in his plans. It would make some sense given that now, without the ability to regenerate after fatal injury, the Master refrain from always putting himself in harms way and as one of his little in jokes.
It’s an idea more overtly explored in one or two big finish stories also.
I’m aware that this dose raise the question of which Ainley Master is if ever the real one. That I argue is a mystery better left unrevealed. The only ones I’d say we’re the true Master are as he left Traken and his appearance in Survival.
What do you guys think?

Isn't that the actual plot of The King's Demons?

Isn't that the actual plot of The King's Demons? Been a long time, but yes I think it is and as I said he’s used robot doubles in two big finish stores to. One to get out of having to deal with Missy’s bs test and another involving the Sixth Doctor and the Valeyard. It just seems like the best way to explain why he keeps coming back despite being in no win situations.
