Sadako's been on such a spiral lately...even admitted to being alt right on a Sanctuary of Geeks livestream which greatly perturbed Whoflix.

Okay I've tried to remain neutral, but I think the Sadako bashing needs to stop now.
I'm not doing a Mike and saying "oh it bores me, start talking about the big picture, blah blah." I'm also aware that it could come over as hypocritical given I have complained about the rotten treatment I got from Sandifier. Still this has gone way beyond even that.
To me this attacking Sadako all the time just comes over as scratching a sore now. I understand that some users like Maxil feel angry at the way they were treated and I'm not going to diminish that, but to be honest I don't think it's healthy for users like Maxil to just keep focusing on someone they genuinely hate so much. This isn't like disliking New Who, a big tv show. This is based on a personal grievance and is clearly genuinely upsetting for the people involved to think about. Added to that it's not like it's accomplishing anything. IE it's not like this is an outpost for fans who are ignored, or you are exposing someone who people didn't know had done shitty things etc.
Dogstar was wrong to bring it up on Planet Mondas, and PS those mods should delete his thread. Given some of the mods there deleted my posts for going on about Missy under the guise that it would provoke and upset people, then the fact that they would keep ones targeting other users is awful and hypocritical. Still we did make dozens of threads attacking Sadako before (I didn't, but by we I mean the Hive.) It was inevitable something like that would happen eventually and it is only going to get worse, the more Sadako threads there are.
PS I don't have a dog in this fight. Sadako took me off FB a year ago and we hadn't spoken for a long while before that. I called him out publicly when he was being abusive to Maxil, I send Maxil messages of support. I do post very, VERY infrequently on Auton Factory to show I'm neutral, but I'm not in the Sadako club.
I just think this really is like picking at a sore and it would be better for the people here to move on from focusing on an upsetting subject.

They're not "attacking him" however burrunjor, they're reporting having been attacked by him, otherwise they wouldn't have been chucked off his forum. Is this another example of attacking him?  Most other Doctor Who forums have their own Sadako/Tranlee stories detailing his abusive behaviour, including Planet Mondas and Anoraks |

I think if people have suffered abuse then they shouldn't be made to feel as if they should suffer in silence however. The worst that's ever likely to happen is either Twatman or Dogshite getting on the forum and having an angry abusive tirade again before they're banned. As you've so often observed yourself, they have their forum and we have ours and so long as we both stick to that, then there's no problem. |

I have spoken with Maxil when Dogstar was being abusive about him on PM. I'm not saying NEVER talk about what happened with Sadako and the others, it's just that when it becomes the dominant subject on the Hive we are in danger of it becoming a forum war. I won't post about this again or do a Mike and follow every Sadako post with "the hive has fallen." Or anything like that. |

The level of engagement on the Hive is a lot higher and more interactive than Auton Factory and it would get pretty dull pretty fast if all we talked about all day long was Twatmans mad behaviour. I admit I did post the one mischeivous thread of "Seany and Thomas, u ok hun?", but that was more light hearted than anything else, after they furiously threw their forum into private bitch-mode and some dual members of both forums were probably feeling some concern and possibly perturbed toward this action. I hate to dissapoint, but I'm afraid there are much better more interesting things to talk about that a tumbleweed forum with ludicrously paranoid controlling mods and admins who seem to be so obsessed with the Hive, that they spend more time hovering and lurking around here than they do their own forum. Things are seriously chilled here. |
