First 2 eps of Happiness - Korean zombie show - on Netflix. Took note of this earlier in the year but kind of put it off as I'd just watched All of Us Are Dead and didn't really want the same sort of thing again so soon. But it's pretty good so far, and suitably different from AOUAD, so far as much police thriller as horror with a bit of romcom thrown in, and two likeable leads. Engaged so far. Also have to snicker at the fact that the zombie outbreak appears to be being caused not by a virus but a pharmaceutical drug created to combat Covid. Safe and effective, no doubt!

Just heard about this comic mystery series Only Murders in the Building with Steve Martin and Martin Short, just about to go into its second season, never heard of it before. Was interested. Oh its only on some streaming site I don't have and probably can't get here and has no sign of a physical release yet. So it may as well not exist. Well thanks for that then.

My mum watched that. Says it was good. That delightful Selena Gomez is in it too. Is it on Disney Plus then?

In Aus I think it is. Hulu elsewhere. Fed up of streaming services at this point.

Still digging Happiness, just 3 eps to go. How is it that South Korea is now better at making TV than the UK and US are?

Was watching The Simpsons earlier. This bit always cracks me up.

Happiness was great. If you have Netflix, watch it. Great horror thriller with a virus turning people into a cross between modern zombies and vampires, with a bunch of people trapped in an apartment building - and some of the residents are as dangerous as the monsters. All this and even a rather touching little love story between the two very likeable leads. That's two Korean shows I've seen this year that are better than 99% of anything coming out of the US or UK lately...

I watched the Queen's funeral today. Depressing like you would expect. Just ending the evening with a Hale and Pace marathon now to get myself in a better and more relaxed mood before I go to bed.

Just watching episodes from 1995. There's a sketch set in a pub and something caught my eye. Apparently a can of Coke cost 39p back then. It's at least a £1 now.

I watched England's 3-3 draw with Germany tonight. We were 2-0 down but scored 3 quick goals and were on our way to win it. Unfortunately we conceded with a few minutes to go. Disappointed but happy we showed a bit of determination.

Got the whole of Magnum PI (the original of course) on Blu ray, watched part1 of the pilot last night. Very enjoyable, and looks beautiful.

Finished the pilot. Very good. As a kid, I always thought Higgins was cooler than Magnum. I kinda still do.

Have you ever seen Magnum, Maxil? I've watched it on ITV4 a few times. It's not bad although I've not seen a huge amount of it.

It was a big part of my childhood but it has been decades since I've seen it. Looks so good on HD Blu ray, you can really appreciate the production values now.
