Probably a predictable ranking on my part, but here you go.
1) The Dark Knight: 9.5/10. 2) Batman Begins: 9/10. 3) Batman (1989): 8/10. 4) The Dark Knight Rises: 7.5/10. 5) Batman Returns: 7/10. 6) Batman Forever: 4/10. 7) Batman & Robin: 2/10.

Disagree on Forever. To be honest, I'm curious to see the 170 minute cut of the film that people keep mentioning. Apparently it's a lot darker and deals more with Batman's guilt throughout the film. The one thing I really do prefer in the film compared to Returns is the fact that we get to see more of Bruce and his past. The stuff with the red book is so intriguing and for the first time in the series Batman feels like the main character in his own movie. I think Bruce retiring Batman in the movie doesn't quite hit as hard as when Superman gave up his powers in Superman II, but I still think it's a good scene and should have been explored. Batman Forever still has echoes of the Burton films. Sadly Batman & Robin doesn't really expand on the character and feels very disconnected from Burton's Batman. It's a nice visual feast, but like Returns doesn't do much with its main character.

Yeah, I know that Forever was massively meddled with by studio executives (partly because of the hyperbolic and ridiculous backlash to Returns supposedly being too violent) which is why the more existential content was cut from the film. I'd much prefer a film in that vein over the tonally inconsistent and manic final film that ended up being made, because there are shades of it in the flashback sequences. Except that the film's main subplot concerning Bruce Wayne's guilt and trauma doesn't actually get resolved in the final cut, instead being relegated to an unfinished deleted scene. A baffling creative decision if ever there was one.

Has nobody else seen Return of the Joker?
Oh wait just saw the title was live action LOL. A bit embarrassed now. Oh well might as well leave the clip up as a lot of people haven't seen this movie and it's easily as good as a lot of the live action ones. Mark Hamill is still the best Joker.

Ok alright here I go Batman 1989 Batman begins Dark knight Forever Batman returns because of Catwoman not the biggest fan of the penguin depiction here like the penguin more in the Adam west one Dark knight rises Batman and Robin because of Alicia Silverstone had a crush on her back in middle school in 2004 and Clooney does what he can again I think of this film as a throwback to the Adam west era a bit lighter side of Batman it's not that bad in my humble opinion gets a much worse rap then it deserves The Batman looking forward to really doing a rant on this one but it's overrated as hell at least some YouTubers are coming out saying it's not that good and not go with the echo chamber loving it .

And yes ratings numbers for each 89 10 2. Begins 9 3 Dark knight 9 Forever 8.5 Returns 8 but if this was just the penguin it would honestly be a 6 Rises really long film 7 Batman and Robin 7 honestly may switch those one day and put rises last the new Batman once I see it probably will rank way last in my rankings .

I will give The Batman a go when it goes down to a sensible rental price on YT Premium. I don't mind paying $7 for a rental, it's little different than renting new releases from the video shop used to be. But $30? I expect to own something for that price! I can wait.

The Dark Knight (2008) Yeah, The Dark Knight isn't all that really. I watched it a few months ago and I honestly didn't see what all the fuss was about. I'll take Superman III instead, thanks
