I have some of the novelisations, though I couldn't list them all. I have an original Auton Invasion that was passed down from an older brother. I still have all the NAs, and some of the MAs and BBC ones. Never bothered with any of the new series novels.

Used to get a lot of bargains out of the Library when they withdrew some of them. I came home once with David Banks' Cybermen book.
I occasionally bought some of the BBC Novels in the 90s, but they didn't hold my attention much compared to the more simplified targets that made reading easier.

I've got that Cyberman book. It's pretty good although I find it strange how it says that Season 25 will be JNT's last season. Maybe it was supposed to be? I've never heard that before.

I have another old Who book that says Caroline Munro will be in a DW movie in the late 80s. It's a crying shame that never happened.

That was his intent. He was "persuaded to stay" (because the show would have been canned and he'd have been sacked from the BBC otherwise).

The best Doctor Who books are Target. They define great storytelling for me. I know, fanboy attempts to be 'literary' don't cut it for me, amazing eh?

I have pretty much the entire run of target novels bar possibly one or two, all in storage now since I packed my entire collection away after Jodie Shittaker was cast and everyone who pointed out that regeneration had always been firmly established as being non-gender fluid being branded a sexist pig.
Who needs that mindless identitarian shite in their lives?
Doctor Who can f*ck off.
A childhood love finally abandoned after almost 50 years.
Time is too precious and there are much better things around.

Started reading the Dalek Invasion of Earth novel last night. I love the opening line:
Through the ruin of the city stalked the ruin of a man.
It's quite a gripping read so far, much like the televised version.
I'm not quite sure what my favourite target novel is. I think Remembrance or Fenric as both are just so rich in description and have a lot nice additional material. I enjoy Saward's comedic Twin Dilemma novel (which greatly improves upon the television version) and I'm also quite fond of John Lucarotti's Massacre novel even if does deviate from the TV version quite a bit.

I always liked Ian Marters books, he deviated quite a bit from the screenplay, but he'd more than make up for it in horrific graphic descriptions. Some of them in Invasion are hilarious.

The Making of Silver Nemesis from the VHS also talked up the series like it was JNT's last, in his interview he said it was up to Sylvester to convince him to stay

I have all my favourites back now and it's easier to collect full seasons thanks to the Blu ray sets. My life would be a bit crap without classic who in it.

Didn't intentionally conceal them from view but the arrangement has probably turned out for the best. They can still be accessed by using the sofa like a door. It's a bit like a tiny leper colony.
