Darn it, you almost got me excited for a moment there. I thought you said Wicked Science was getting a Blu ray. I'm sure one of those dodgy Spanish labels will release them somehow if the parent studio doesn't

The rare DVD of the erotic thriller from 1992 "Poison Ivy" starring Drew Barrymore in a seductive role. Drew also kisses a real life lesbian in the film so it was a no brainer really.

Oh believe me I was all over that back then. Drew was smoking hot and I had a bit of a crush on Sara Gilbert at the time. Nice!

I'm looking forward to watching it. Apart from parts of Far From Home, Batman Forever, ET and Charlie's Angels I haven't really seen much of her films. Are there any others where she looks really good?

Doppelganger, but it's pretty bad. The Wedding Singer is good.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles on Blu ray. An all time classic.

I didn't get it myself, but my sister bought me Ralph Macchio's biography for Christmas. Speaks a lot about filming The Karate Kid and its lasting impact on popular culture.

Going to buy the 1994 Superhero movie "The Shadow" starring Alec Baldwin, Tim Curry (give it a watch, Burrunjor. He's brilliant in it) and Penelope Ann Miller on Blu Ray. It's very underrated and the second best superhero film of the decade after Batman Returns. I like the fact that it's a period piece as well.

Vaguely remember my brother renting it on laserdisc in the mid 90s but have not seen it since.

Anyone seen the 1986 film Manhunter starring Brian Cox as Hannibal Lecter, Tom Noonan and William Petersen? I remember finding it really dark and investing with some top level cinematography and expert film making. It's directed by Michael Mann who produced the Miami Vice series and has a genuinely authentic 80s vibe. I'm going to buy the Blu ray.

It's good. I prefer Red Dragon myself (controversially lol).

More of a companion piece to Silence of the Lambs.
