The five film Stallone collection on Blu ray. Needed to update the set as I've had the DVD version for ages. The set has Cobra, Assassins, The Specialist, Demolition Man and Tango & Cash. All great transfers and I got it for £11.
I think the Warner Brothers blu ray's look the best. The MGM ones however always disappoint me barring the Bond films.

The Steven Seagal five film collection. Again, another set for only £11. This one includes both Under Siege films (his best in my opinion), his debut film Nico, Hard to Kill and... Executive Decision. I'm not sure how that counts as a Seagal flick since he dies half an hour into it and isn't even credited in the opening titles. It's a Kurt Russell film. Anyway, good set. Dunno what the transfers will be like but since it's WB I reckon they're pretty good.

All four Predator films on Blu ray. I thought I'd get the whole lot as the set was cheap and there was no way to get the second film individually. I also didn't have the original on Blu ray so that was another reason.

The Bruce Lee collection includes Game of Death 2, which he is only in for the first 20 mins before he is killed off. You know the funniest thing? He isn't even really in it. ALL of his scenes are just stock footage taken from his previous movies for close up shots, with body doubles shot from behind standing in for the other moments. They used the same trick admittedly for Game of Death 1, but at the very least, it was partially based on a movie he was making before he died and included new footage of him at the end no one had seen before. This film however he had nothing to do with, and offered up no new footage. (Apart from Bruce Lee's real life funeral, which we see when his character dies, including a nice shot of his rotting, embalmed corpse.) It's honesty the most insane thing I've ever seen. The movie was made ten years after his death, yet it claimed to star him, by just taking clips of his old movies and splicing them into a new one? I could technically do that now and claim my movie has John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, Peter Cushing, Boris Karloff, Vincent Price and hey Bruce Lee. Still it seemingly worked with this movie being included alongside all of his others. I remember even as a boy it was in my Bruce Lee collection on VHS. I must admit as a child I did think that he had filmed some new scenes for it, but now I know better.

Giant-sized custom Shada poster (the one for the cinema showings of the Blu ray in 2017) and a giant-sized custom Buffy (the season 2 publicity shot of Buffy, Xander, Willow and Cordelia on the library steps). Will both look very nice framed on the wall.

Exit Wounds on Blu ray. One of the best Seagal films in my opinion. Anthony Anderson is hilarious in it.

Okay, this is the only shit I've bought recently, thought I'd better read the f*ckers before commenting on them: The Fall of Deadworld: Now this is more like it! After a run of mediocre books in the Ultimate Collection run, I really enjoyed this. The art and atmosphere is grim and the storyline somewhat complex, even convoluted, however this is a world building stage of the story with more characters introduced like Ava Eastwood who is like a wrinkled leathery female version of Dredd. The art and the story are relentlessly bleak but there are some good set pieces. The short "memories" sequences are really quite good as stand alone pieces. Modern classic. The Returners: I knew nothing about this strip before reading it, but I fair enjoyed it. The character development and interaction is pretty good and some of the later surreal scenes as locations shift keep things interesting. The artwork is simple and basic but colourful and functionary. Considering the writer snuffed it before concluding the story and editor Matt Smith(not the actor!) coming into wrap things up, the finale is satisfying. Not bad. Brass Sun - Volume Two: This story is building up to be quite an epic steampunk/fantasy, with unpredictable twists and turns, and the narrative progression engrossing. My main criticism is really that the conclusion hasn't been created yet, but I consider this to once again be a modern day 2000AD classic. I dunno why though, the artists simple use of line just reminds me of Hergé for some reason. Ro-busters - Volume One: I was a little surprised to see this released considering that they're all mostly Star Lord strips(rather than 2000AD ones), but they're all reproduced with original centrefold colour spreads. The double act between Ro-jaws and Hammerstein is a joy to re-read after many years and apart from the odd non-PC phrase, this strip stands up well by contemporary standards. The art is generally good throughout and the narrative clear and easy to follow. Good stuff. All in all, a better batch of releases than the last batch I ploughed through, then again none of this material is from the dark days of the 90's when 2000AD was producing all the shit stuff.

Zoo Gang. Tv show from the 70s featuring Roger Delgado, Peter Cushing and Jacqueline Pearce. Can't wait to see it.

It's such an investing adventure story and you'll be surprised at how much better certain aspects are of the production is compared to Doctor Who at the time. I have fond memories of binge watching the whole thing over a bank holiday weekend about four years ago.

I watched it back in the day and saw it in the 90s being repeated at early hours of the morning in Aussieland, but that's probably near 30 years ago now. f*ck I'm old.

A rare as hens teeth old official fancard for a certain Neighbours actress. Daren't even say how much I paid for it. Oh well, it's a one-off. F**k it.

How was Harley Quinn Iank? I thought about picking it up, as the clips I saw of it looked hilarious, but I just never got round to it.
