Rogue is probably the second worst for me. Something that truly believes it's groundbreaking television. Plus the monsters absolutely suck. This series is eight episodes long so why does every other episode feel like filler? The only villain in Boom was Moffat's smugness. Quoted for truth. |

I couldn't help but be tickled by the sight of three anti-Tory Davroses in the election thread the other day... I won’t be removing this avatar anytime soon for this very reason. The amount of Davroses in that thread who were explicitly opposed to both the Blue and Red Tories highlights that one can take exception to Davies’ ludicrous identitarianism, whilst still maintaining greater genuine critical and socialist faculties than NuWho’s biggest champions. A good proportion of which are either implicitly or explicitly happy to champion Keith Starmer… |

I don't know anything about Julian Bleach's politics, but I thought he was a reasonable Davros in so far the crap scripts permitted him to be. Stolen Earth was bad enough, but that Moffat 2 parter was even more cringeworthy. I still feel a small residue of mournfulness over how good Capaldi COULD'VE been....
