If bi-generation is a myth, then I can easily headcanon that the Doctor didn't fully understand what it was, and it in fact makes Ncuti some kind of conjoined twin of the Doctor, rather than the real thing. He even takes the other TARDIS that the Toymaker's mallet made. Was it the Toymakers mallet? I thought it was just some kind of Roger Rabbit type thing Disney had just conjured up out of thin air for him. Mind you, I fell asleep twice watching it.

Hello!
Longtime reader (lurker?) here, who thought I'd finally take a leap of faith.
Have enjoyed and agreed with a lot on here for a long time.
And...Just before I give my POV on the question being asked, a tiny bit about me.
Doctor Who very much part of my life from the moment I saw Tom vs Daleks.
Original series, favourite Dr's are Pat and Tom. 2005+ Chris I liked, was about to check out during DT's first bash, but Matt won it back for me.
Time passes. Jodie arrived. I endured as much as I could, but the ThoughtFree Childthing finally did it for me.
As for everything since...
...well, there's time for that later, but let's just say attempts to reasonably disagree with The Consensus on certain well known forums has resulted in a couple of bans. Such a shame...
In the meantime, 10 or 14?
Well, I initially quite liked 10. It all started to sour quickly though, and by "Ghostbusters"... yeah, my patience was rapidly thinning. By the time he finally, thankfully stropped off, I was very much done with Tennant's take. His return as 14, as well as being an obvious admission of failure, was dreadful in every way... and somehow there was even worse to come...
Babe + hun + tears.
These days, those who choose not to re-appear on this embarrassing excuse of a once great show are the ones I respect the most. Sorry Dave.

The Tenth Doctor era kinda wins by default for having way more development, stories and none of this new cringe 'wokeness' (I hate this term, but can't think of a better one atm).
That being said, I think Tennant improved as an actor, I like his new costume more and I like that in some sense, the Fourteenth Doctor gives the Tenth a happier ending more in line with the other Doctors (thematically speaking, ignoring the bi-generation bollocks).

I try to avoid that word as well, mainly it's used by dumbass right-wingers who don't understand the concept of identity politics, as a general slur on the entire left. So I still use the term; 'political correctness'. Also, when I first heard the term 'woke', it referred to conspiracy theorist nut jobs who were telling the rest of us to wake up to the lizards amongst us or the new world order, or whatever.

Also this marked the last time the Sontarans were a threat, and Christopher Ryan as always was the best Sontaran since Kevin Lindsay (though I don't think he quite matched him.) https://www.reddit.com/r/gallifrey/comments/1duiq3j/whos_your_favorite_sontaran_actor/ They're all saying Dan Starkey (Strax) is the best in this thread. When Chibnall redesigned the Sontarans to represent a more classic look, I thought they were finally gonna be taken seriously. But they ended up being more farcical than ever with that stupid chocolate scene and calling each other ugly, ugh.
