Already noted that its telling he thinks it would be a bad thing for the show to be tight and claustrophobic instead of a ridiculous OTT campfest.

I still don't get it. The show has always been smaller, a bit more cerebral perhaps, and less flashy than Star Wars and associated franchises. That's just what it is, what it was at least.
