I'm more than happy to help you out with these things. I have experience as an admin. To be honest, I actually like this place. It would be a shame if it was just temporary. I'll message the likes of UncleDeadly and Bowie and tell them about this place. I might need a mod at some stage just to keep an eye out for spambots or porn going up etc, I'm not sure yet. I suspect this is going to be a fairly quiet forum for the most part with low level amount of posts(if any at all). It might well end up tumbleweed territory as so many do. But I do know that once I return to work I won't really be able to devote much time to it. Come to think of it, now that Maxil’s bumped this thread up, I’d like to properly thank you for opening Redux when you did. Things could have been a hell of a lot worse if you hadn’t.  Hard to believe it’s been almost two years since it was opened, isn’t it? |

Thanks Bernard, I didn't really think it would last 2 months when I first opened it, or just figured it might just remain tumbleweed territory. I'd still like to find a way of getting the forum to a more adult host however, where we can swear or discuss more adult subjects without fear of closure. It's just finding the time and I find it hard enough trying to find time to devote to this forum as it is. |

It's a shame we can't swear on here to our heart's content. I'm still unsure if my original "Canute of the year" avatar would have been flagged up, but I was probably better off veering on the safe side and changing it. It's just finding the time and I find it hard enough trying to find time to devote to this forum as it is. Ha! Tell me about it. I'd post more often, but I need more time and energy now. It's a mixture of my life intensifying and sometimes being burnt out by Doctor Who discourse. I still turn up occasionally, though. My posts are generally more jovial now than they were before. Redux has been the most secure iteration of the Hive since I turned up too! Fingers crossed that this continues. |

I do find it pleasingly ironic and amusing that this place, supposedly notorious for what a bunch of c***s we all are, is actually much more pleasent to be on than any other Who forum. |
