I think I tried once in the late 2000s with one of the Tennants as it was written by Mark Morris, who wrote a number of very enjoyable horror ones in the BBC Books EDA/PDA ranges, but it was clearly really dumbed down for the New Poo audience. Did it come with instructions? Not fair otherwise, really...

I'd never read a NuWho novel. I'm surprised they're not all illustrated books with three words per page. I would recommend Baxendale's "Prisoner of the Daleks", as it's specifically written with the premise of 'what if David Tennant was a 1970s Doctor'. It has a strong Terry Nation vibe to it, with the Doctor being separated from his TARDIS (like in "Daleks' Master Plan") and travelling around with a crew of shady Blake's 7-esque characters. Gauda Prime even gets a name-drop!

I wish they'd sell those Earthshock/Bannermen/Train Guard helmets.

My Attack of the Cybermen novel isn't in the best condition.... Well, that's Saward. You were looking for the bits with the Doctor in, weren't you..?... I was looking for the bits that don't feature any violence. What a sadist!
