I remember really disliking Daleks: Invasion Earth.
The first Dalek movie was colourful, but in an atmospheric and visually appealing sort of way. It popped on the screen.
Invasion Earth just looked tacky to me, especially with those Sugar Puffs advertisements and the whole Robomen sequence with Cribbins. It completely neutered the post-apocalyptic vibes that story goes for. I especially hate that everything's in broad daylight, with pastel colours everywhere. Sure, the original serial was in daylight too, but at least that was in black-and-white.

Throughly enjoyed the TV Movie this evening. Love Grace and the whole mid 90s vibe. The TARDIS interior is hands down the best TARDIS interior of all time and absolutely clobbers the NuWho ones.

Bloody adore this story. Lalla and Tom are the ultimate duo, constantly trading quips and solving problems. Direction is great as well.

I used to be a two-lumps kind of guy myself, but my dad made me some really strong tea once and that kinda changed my outlook. Now I prefer it bitter.
