They can't even leave the things they did that worked alone LOL.

Will they do this with every subsequent Doctor?

This just highlights to me how nothing is left of Hartnell in there. When it was Matt I could see it in little ways. The fact that he was an unusual character actor, the way he was dressed etc. Here with Ncuti, it looks like he's flirting with Hartnell LOL.

Will they do this with every subsequent Doctor? This is also likely an implicit way- alongside hubristically sprinkling this new version everywhere to signify its threshold over all of Doctor Who's past (will there be a Morbius/future faces edit soon?)- of signalling that Smith won't be in the specials at all.

To be honest I'm okay with Matt not being in the specials. His legacy is largely intact at least for me and others who liked him. His era was excellent, he was excellent, he left when it was at its peak and has had a great career since, and hasn't been involved in anything since. He really did jump ship before the Titanic hit the Iceberg. Also I don't want to see him in something starring NPH anyway LOL.

Still wondering how Capaldi feels about the show nowadays. He's distanced himself ever since he left.

Still wondering how Capaldi feels about the show nowadays. He's distanced himself ever since he left. Bitter as f*ck, as he got his dream role, only to be lumbered with dreadful scripts, a literal parody of the Master ( a villain he grew up with) falling viewers that he got blamed for by the same BBC that treated him as a stop gap Doctor despite his career, due to his gender, constantly being asked when he will leave so we can get a woman, and finally he may have even been fired to bring in a woman who sunk the shows viewers to even greater lows.

lol They're even shitting on each other's shit.
I'm starting to find it funny now I've no intention of ever subjecting myself to any of it.

This hasn't gone down well either. Three turkeys. Able bodied Davros, Daleks re-edited with ugly colours, sub Murray Gold bollocks and ridiculous editing, and to cap it all off what many modern fans see as an insult to one of the few almost universally beloved new who Doctors.

WOW when you consider the 50th this looks bad. We had the recovery of the Lost Troughton classics, An Adventure in Space and Time and The Fivish Doctors on top of the 50th. Now we have butchering of a classic story, butchering of a classic villain, and butchering of a classic anniversary celebration, all before we get to a special that will be no different to the 50th in terms of being a New Who party, except rather than lovely Ingrid, and the class act of John Hurt we have NPH.
Yeah regardless of what we think of Moffat, you have to say he was a better man to run the anniversary.

The 50th special was crap, but yeah it was a way more optimistic and fun period to be a fan. RTD seems to be on a mission to destroy everyone's love for the show.

I still find it hilarious that Davison's sequel for "Five-ish Doctors" was apparently so offensive that they all refused to do it.

I enjoyed the Ncuti cameo, I think it made more sense for there to be a Doctor greeting Bradley that you know will be there for the long haul. When Matt made the cameo appearance, he was already out the door. Capaldi should have been there instead that first time around. Liked the wink too, very McCoy.
