Someone quite wisely questioned whether Russell would really keep the Timeless Child canon if he wasn't Chibnall's friend. After all, it wasn't difficult to retcon "half human on my mother's side"...

Moffat had no problem erasing a percentage of RTD's run from canon in series Five, and he's still very close with Russel, so we'll just have to see how things are handled here.

All they do is blindly pat each other on the back. Telling someone their work is brilliant all the time (when it really isn't) without any sort of constructive criticism is not the way to go. The quality of the past four of five years is indicative of that.
