City of Death is my all time favourite from this era with Fang Rock and Destiny just behind. Special shout out to Fendahl, Sun Makers, Stones of Blood and Nimon.

I don't think it's fair to pick Shada, because the 2017 cut (which I adore) doesn't really reflect what the story would have been like in 1980.
So with that being said, I choose The Ribos Operation. It's full of delightful characters, Tom and Mary's chemistry is immediately electric and the Graff Vynda-K is in my top 10 Doctor Who villains.

Horror of Glam Rock. Noddy Holder was a brilliant Doctor and Dave Hill certainly got the dads watching. Paul Magrs wants his joke back...

Given this is my favourite era it's almost impossible for me to pick just the one but since no one else has... I'll go for Shada. I was always fascinated by the notion of Shada, this half-finished story, and I remember being thrilled by the announcement of the VHS release with Tom's narration. But it turned out to be even better than I hoped, and I loved it to bits. When they announced the animation, I was very excited but also rather trepeditious - the VHS Shada after all is about 1 hr 40 and very zippy, with the animation the new one was going to clock in at nearly 2hrs 30, and I worried it would make it a lot slower and I mightn't like it as much. Turned out I loved it even more. For that alone, I choose Shada.

Power of Kroll
It may not be the best story, but it's truly Doctor Who in spirit.

Kroll is, like Armageddon Factor after it, bizarrely underrated. Always liked it but it keeps climbing in my estimation every time I see it. It is, as you say, pure Who in a way we're unlikely to ever get again.

Went for City of Death. Boring but obvious choice.

Androids of Tara. Pinnacle of the Williams era.

TBH, I like all the stories listed. There's nothing from the Graham Williams era that I couldn't sit down and watch right now and thoroughly enjoy - even (mostly) unloved serials like Underworld and The Power Of Kroll are not without value. This is partly because Tom's my favourite Dr, partly because Seasons 15, 16 and 17 are exceptionally good, but also, I have a special fondness for telly shows from the late '70s, not just Who.

For me it's an ogoing battle between Fang Rock and Fendahl. I usually pick Fendhal in polls, because it doesn't get as much support.

You're both mad as hatters. Fendahl is incoherent tripe. Boucher at his absolute worst. Just making random shit up as he goes along.
I'm not even being funny here. It's so lazily put together it could be a Moffat story.

I don't think Fang Rock is all that much, but it is respectable.
