I love montages. Why waste twenty minutes telling a story when you can show it all in two? Naturally all of these are from the 80s, the greatest decade for montages as well as everything else.
1. The Eye of the Tiger montage - Rocky III (1982) - Come on, who HASN'T heard this song?
2. No Easy Way Out montage - Rocky IV (1985) - missed the other Rocky movies? No sweat, the whole thing is covered in four minutes!
3. The "Voices" montage from episode five of Miami Vice. If you're on your way to take down an evil drug lord I suggest you watch this for motivation.
4. The "Angel of the City" montage from Cobra (1986) - Robots, serial killers and Brigitte Nielsen!
5. The "You're the Best" montage from The Karate Kid (1984) - Cool as sh*t

I can't believe you didn't add the iconic "Push it to the Limit" montage from Scarface! Especially as a Miami Vice fan, lol, that movie practically exists in the same universe
