What I don't like about The Long Game is the Doctor's treatment of Adam and his comment "I only take the best. I've got Rose." It's funny because she makes an almighty f*ck up in the next episode and also is the main reason why he has to regenerate at the end of the series yet he keeps her around anyway.

I though Dragonfire was ok. Not great but watchable.
The longest game was not overly memorable besides Simon Pegg. Kind of marred by having Langley in it. Would have been better in hind sight if the Dalek just shot his character.

"Create a climate of fear and it’s easy to keep the borders closed. It’s just a matter of emphasis. The right word in the right broadcast repeated often enough can destabilize an economy, invent an enemy, change a vote." Some of the best politicised dialogue he’s ever written (albeit with a low bar)- and in an episode I don’t even like much. How can dialogue like this come out of his pen despite the rest of his era displaying such inconsistency when it comes to commentary?

He probably copied it word for word from somewhere else, like he does with all his other material.

There is something suspiciously Batman/007 about it, I will admit...
