She was never really my type, but objectively obviously she is great.
As for the horrible comments, well that's just because she made some political comments recently. It was either about Trump, or trans rights or something. From what I remember they were genuinely stupid, but still that's made her a target. It's a shame again that the culture wars bullshit has to spread into our enjoyment of past things.
Like I said, you're a hypocrite if you let that bother you, because chances are you'll stumble upon a work by a genuine racist or bigot that you like, rather than just a head in the clouds hollywood lefty like Jaime Lee Curtis.

She's beautiful, but always looked a little too... I dunno, harsh? Stern?

She has an androgynous look about her. Of course, looking hot in 80s workout gear helps. Even I'd have a go.

Jamie Lee Curtis, Carrie Fisher and Sigourney Weaver are the three women people always seem to be split on whether they're attractive or not. I adore all three.

Nothing can beat Leia's look in the original Star Wars. Always struck me as so ethereal and almost ghostly as a kid, such was her elegance. In terms of aesthetic design, 1977's Star Wars by far dominates the other films in the franchise. So many iconic looks in one film: the intrepid heroes, the Falcon, the Star Destroyers, the TIE Fighters, X-Wings, Death Star, stormtroopers, imperial outfitting, Darth Vader himself for god's sake. It was all so perfect. The only truly iconic designs I can think of that originated outside of 1977 are the AT-AT walkers and the Emperor.

It's probably a cliche at this point for me to say she looked the best in her slave girl outfit, but in terms of classical beauty I love her Hoth look in Empire and her multiple Endor attires. I think I'd probably say her green uniform with this hair style is peak Leia for me.

I would agree about Curtis and Weaver, at least once upon a time. The former went for a more androgynous look which is a bit more niche, whilst Weaver was tall which can put some men off. (Though I f*cking LOVE it.) Fisher though? I always thought she was one that was pretty universal? Look at all the guys that went on about the bikini scene?

A lot of people like Carrie, but I've also read countless comments saying that she was pretty average looking for the most part. For me Carrie was just so genuine looking. I don't think she ever looked like how you'd expect a major Hollywood star to look like which made her more appealing to me. I've always considered her one of the most beautiful actresses.

"Weaver was tall which can put some men off" That's what they say about Brigitte Nielsen as well. I mean she's massive! Very attractive, though. She probably dominated Stallone when they were married. I do like tall chicks, I must admit.

Hate him all you want, but every person on the planet knows what Jar Jar Binks looks like)

Big Fam, Katey Sagal, Alti (who was 6 foot one), Gina Carano, Rebecca Romjin, Gal Gadot, Gina Torres and Xena most of all. I think some guys were put off of it because they thought that it was emaculating, but now I don't think think it is much a deal breaker? I do remember one guy saying that he thought Xena looked like a man. Seriously? What kind of men enter his pub?

Linda Hamilton is another one I find quite attractive unlike other people. Not so much in the second film, but she rocks that 80s style in the first film:
