I can't wait for Russell to bring back all the 2000s DW memes - Molto bene! - Yes, we know who you are. - Captain Cheesecake (in reference to Jack) - That one TV reporter - The Nightmare Child - Look at all you bwilliant people! - It's snowing, I love snow! - Christmas invasions on London/Cardiff etc. etc.

Harriet Jones (from beyond the grave?) According to RTD, Harriet never died, she escaped the Daleks through a trap door and fled on a motorbike. It was detailed in a poetry book Russel illustrated Man I hate "quirky humour" like this that just laughs in the face of continuity and common sense.

All the possible candidates I can think of (in descending order of likelihood/importance): Rose Jackie Adam Face of Boe Cassandra O'Brien Margaret the Slitheen Nancy from the Empty Child Sycorax (?) Those reaper things Pete Tyler Charles Dickens (I guess it's Christmas-themed?) Harriet Jones (from beyond the grave?) The Anne-Droid (and maybe a surprise appearance by those other two busty gynoids) Davitch Pavale and Elaine the Pain from Tracy Beaker Honestly I just wish they'd leave this stuff behind. It's been decades and dredging it all back up again only serves to remind us of our depleting mortality in the face of a hyper-consumerist culture whose current fixation seems to be on coddling man-children with sets of jangling keys vaguely resembling various recognisable characters of their youth. Ah man the show is done, I don't even care lol. I think we can safely cross Adam off for similar reasons to Jack

Jack exposed an entirely different head, a head you shouldn't really show people in a sweaty BBC studio.

Yes but Adam turned off the lights on a staircase, and told some birds to grab onto his other head, claiming it was the bannister.

Man I hate "quirky humour" like this that just laughs in the face of continuity and common sense. Man I didn't realise the Hive had been around that long...or that it originally derived from the "Leisure Hive"

Man I didn't realise the Hive had been around that long...or that it originally derived from the "Leisure Hive" Interesting, I always thought that was how everyone found out about the Hive. When did you find out about the hive?

When did you find out about the hive? Someone bemoaning it on r/DoctorWho as being a place full of "whining classic fans pining for the past", or something along those lines. Thought it sounded right up my street.

I'm going with Face of Boe where he goes White Face and the Doctor lectures him, at length, about cultural appropriation.
