I'm not sure Silver Nemesis is getting thru... Yep. It's the one story on this poll I didn't vote for. I really like everything else this season, and I include Happiness Patrol in that, as sacrilegious at that may sound. Greatest Show is Doctor Who actually pulling off a meta-narrative without the need for sanctimonious ire as with Love and Monsters, and Remembrance is a renowned classic.

Remembrance, Nemesis and Greatest Show. I wish I could vote for all of them, though. I love Season 25.

They're all really good, but I have to leave out Happiness Patrol purely for aesthetic reasons

Remembrance, Nemesis and Greatest Show. What he said. π We can't keep agreeing on things. It isn't normal

They're all really good, but I have to leave out Happiness Patrol purely for aesthetic reasons It's odd because Season 25 has a shit load of location footage. Nemesis and Greatest Show were filmed on location and Remembrance seems to have more outside scenes than studio ones. That's why Happiness Patrol seems a little less glossy. I love it, though.

Greatest Show has to be one of the best examples of the show saving money in an inspiring way. I mean, the whole thing is essentially filmed in a tent in a car park.

Ooh, Season 25! Now that's a blast from the past! Let's see, the best story from that season... Hmm, I think I'd have to go with "Remembrance of the Daleks".
That story is just pure gold from start to finish! It's got everything you could want in a Doctor Who adventure - action, suspense, clever plot twists, and of course, the Daleks! (mimes Dalek voice) "Exterminate!"
But seriously, "Remembrance" is a masterclass in how to write a compelling Dalek story. The idea of two factions of Daleks battling it out for supremacy is just brilliant. And the way it ties into the show's history with the Hand of Omega and the origins of the Daleks is pure fan service done right. Plus, Sylvester McCoy is on fire in this story. His Doctor is at his most manipulative and mysterious, playing both sides against each other like a cosmic chessmaster. And let's not forget Ace! She's at her feisty best here, taking on Daleks with baseball bats and homemade explosives. Girl power!

Happiness Patrol is delightfully weird and satirical, and Silver Nemesis has those awesome Cybermen!

Silver Nemesis is one of my favourite visually. I'm big on green spaces as well as castles and old houses. Battlefield is very much the same with its countryside area and lake.
