Maybe it's because I went into it with the hype, but I just found Earthshock to be incredibly boring. They spend entire episodes mucking about in those caves with the androids, and the rest is a generic runaround, which Troughton did much better.

I'd rather watch Silver Nemesis, at least stuff's happening.

I love Earthshock myself, but Nemesis is a riot. It does so much for the lore and the legacy of the program. Peinforte is an incredible character too.

My only real issue with Nemesis has nothing to do with the plot. It's the fact that despite being set in the middle of November most people are dressed for summer. At least in Remembrance people were wearing coats and scarves. It's just a minor problem that doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the story.

Lazarus is still a bit s**t to be honest, turning into a generic chased-by-bad-CGI monster complete with cliched false ending 20 minutes in and has a very skewed and confused sense of morality (the Doctor is basically against the whole thing from the start for no reason which is massively hypocritical from a species that lives for thousands of years!).
